The Middle Ages, Renaissance, and Enlightenment: Students study the origins, accomplishments, and geographic diffusion of the Renaissance
following the Middle Ages. Students analyze the historical developments of the Scientific Revolution and its lasting effect on religious,
political, and cultural institutions. Students analyze political, social, and economic change as a result of the Age of Enlightenment in Europe.
