PTSA Membership Meeting
All members and those still considering joining are invited to the first Membership
Meeting of the school year.
Thursday, Sept. 22 at 6:30pm in the school library.
We hold three membership meetings during the school year to conduct PTSA business. Our
PTSA is member driven and only members can make decisions on what our PTSA does. This
includes how we spend our money and the rules that govern our PTSA. We will be
discussing and voting on our budget and Standing Rules at this first meeting. A quorum of
members is required to conduct our business, so please attend if you can.
Special guest: Mr. Jason Morse (our principal) will answer your questions about all things
Maywood.
6th Grade Pizza/Bingo Family Fun Night
Friday, Sept. 23 at 6:30-8:15pm in the school cafeteria.
All 6th graders and their families are invited to this fun annual social event. This is a great
time to get to know your fellow 6th graders! Pizza and drinks are provided free of charge by
our sponsor, Orthodontic Excellence of Newcastle. They also provide the prizes for bingo
and one big raffle prize given out at the end of the evening. No need to sign up, just show
up and have some fun!
