TAI CHI F.I.T. Level 1 Mind-Body-Movement Certification
Continuing Education Credit
In this lab-intensive Level 1 Certification, Dr. Burns will approach the problems of chronic pain and other
comorbidities with movement techniques that utilize the biopsychosocial model of health care. In 12 hours, packed
full of insights and meticulous, live demonstrations, you will study the evidence-based interventions to effectively
strengthen and heal your patients.
If you do not see your respective state listed, please review your rules/regulations as many states have reciprocal
agreements with other state boards/associations.
Dr. Burns will dynamically present the rich history and empowering philosophy behind these mind-body practices.
He will instruct on how to utilize these martial and healing art practices for improving not only patients’ health and
wellness but also to maximize your own physical and emotional performance. Dr. Burns blends the evidence with
case examples in a teaching style that reflects his passion and conviction to improve upon the health of people of
all ages and abilities.

Oriental Medicine. His seminars blend the evidence and his experience with a teaching style that reflects his
