Study the following terms, people, places and concepts. Go over homework, worksheets, maps, vocabulary,
and notes from class. Organize your worksheets and highlight your notes. The test will be on Wed., Jan. 18, 2017.

Directions: Write 24 flashcards using index cards. 20 of these flashcards should be from the Words to Know,
Places to Know or People to Know. On the black side of the index card write the word on the lined side write why it
was important in the Ancient Egypt Unit we studied or define the word.

Building the Great Pyramid; building a great symbol like this gave the Egyptian people something to be
proud and so they worked harder for Egypt.
Trade with the Kingdom of Kush brought more of variety of goods, gold, wood and ebony into Egypt.
Religious beliefs that stressed kinds deeds helped Egyptians to work together to
achieve goals; for instance the entire society was
usually well-fed and had a food surplus.
Egyptian medicine used honey which actually helped to heal some wounds and successfully performed
surgery on broken bones.
