Introduction
Working Conditions
The STAUFF Laser Particle Counter LasPaC II is a
twin-laser, microprocessor-controlled, 8-channel particle counter designed for monitoring the degree of contamination of mineral based hydraulic fluids.
Operating temperature:
+5°C ... +80°C (+41°F ... +176°F)
Data Output
Cumulative particle counts, as well as cleanliness classes according to ISO 4406 (1999) / SAE AS 4059 Rev.D
(2001) and ISO 4406 (1991) / NAS 1638 (1964)
Laser Sensors
The LasPaC II is equipped with two laser sensors:
• A high accuracy laser for 4-6 µm
• A standard accuracy laser for 6-68 µm
Integrated printer
Enables printouts and documentation in the field.
Fixed head thermal printer 384 dots per line.
Measured channels: 4, 6, 14, 21, 25, 38, 50, 68 µm
The orifice of the sensor has a cross section 0,9 x 0,9
mm (0,036 x 0,036 inch).
Integrated memory
600 standard measurements
DIAGTRONICS
The maximum concentration is ISO 4406 Code 24
(160.000 p/ml).
Computer interface
RS232 communication port as standard,
RS485 on request (only for LasPaC II – I)
USB adaptor available
Calibration
The sensor is calibrated with ISO-Medium Test Dust
(MTD, according to ISO 11171:1999) providing results
according to ISO 4406, SAE AS 4059 and NAS 1638.
Software
Downloading and storage of the data with included software.
Further processing with Microsoft Excel® possible.
