Exploring Our Solar
System

Introduction
The purpose of this EAST project is to
develop a new technique for K-3 teachers to
educate their students on the subject of our
solar system.
Project Overview
Students will become proficient in
identifying and understanding facts
regarding our solar system with particular
emphasis on the following:
 The sun
 The eight (8) planets encircling the sun
 The many moons surrounding our planets

