Benefits of Dry Cold Therapy
Dry Cold
Active Compression
Accelerated Healing
• Decreases pain and muscle spasms
• Decreases swelling
• Decreases tissue damage by slowing the
metabolic process
• Dry application prevents cracked heels, scratches,
and dermatological issues
Benefits of Active Compression
• Pushes cold deeper into muscles and tendons,
providing longer lasting therapy
• Mimics natural muscle contractions, “pumping” fluids
and cellular debris out of the injured area
• Cyclical action reduces swelling, encouraging fresh
blood flow
Overall Benefits of the System
• Accelerated healing
• Preventative maintenance
• Convenient and easy to use, without the mess of
ice packs or buckets
• Portability allows for use around the barn and at
horse shows
“Game Ready’s cold and active compression therapy
comes with us to every show. It’s portable, easy to
use, and most importantly, it helps our horses
perform at their very best!”

“The Game Ready System is an
excellent way for all competitors
and trainers to help prevent tendon
and suspensory injuries. I use this
system every day for prevention,
but the combination of compression
and cold therapy is what has been
essential for accelerated recovery
on initial or acute injuries.”

Why is active compression better than
static compression?
Active compression mimics the body’s normal muscle
contractions which “pump” tissue debris out of the
affected area. Static compression, such as a bandage,
minimizes the amount of fluid that can enter an
injury site, but does little to aid the horse’s body in
removing existing swelling and can even prevent
fresh blood flow into that part of the body.
