Infectious Disease Epidemiologic Methods

Introduction to Biostatistical Methods (P6104)
Purpose:
The purpose of the class is to introduce infectious disease epidemiology history and some of the
methods currently used in the conduct of infectious disease epidemiologic studies.
Organization:
The course will be a series of four lectures followed by a guided discussion of the topics
presented. The four lectures will consist of a historical review of infectious disease
epidemiology, and basic methodological and analytical approaches to the study of infectious
disease risk. The final week of the course will be a final exam.
Grading:
100% of the grade will be based on the final exam.
