Missouri History Project
• Each person will be placed in a group with 4-5
people
• Your group will be assigned a time period to
research
• You will choose 1 important person, place or event
to research and gather information about
• You will create a visual presentation that you will
create and present using PowerPoint or Photo
Story
• Each group will then merge their projects into 1
presentation and create a group slide
Research Procedure
• Get information either from book source or
Internet site
• Read and highlight important information
• Take notes from the highlighted information by
putting it in your own words
• Plan slides using bullets or sentences (use slide
planning sheet)
• Keep all websites and book sources written down
or pasted into a document to use for a work cited
slide (Bibliography)
