PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
An ex Army officer acknowledged for zeal, enthusiasm, perseverance, adaptive nature and willingness
to learn (quick on uptake). I have been successfully accomplished various responsibilities and nurtured
and developed team spirit and leadership during the 23 year stint with the INDIAN ARMY.
I have been the General Manager Corporate Resources in an IT firm from Nov 2010 to Jun 2013 upon
taking Pre Mature Retirement from the Army. The responsibility included the HR, Admin, Accounts,
Logistics, and IT infra along with security aspects of the organization.
I have been working as the Chief Security & Fire Safety Officer of one of the Malls of Bharti Realty at
Ludhiana since Feb 2015 till date.
Indian Army









Chief Security Officer and Administrative head of an ASC unit of 800 men in the Indian
Army.
Experience in various operations in Op Vijay and Op Parakram. Took active part in Counter
Insurgency operations in J&K as part of Rashtriya Rifles.
.Took part in OP RHINO in ASSAM and ARUNACHAL PRADESH, OP RAKSHAK I, II and III
in J&K and Assam
Experience of Handling Accounts and Training of subordinates.
Supply chain Management. Handled supplies, Contracts, Petroleum, Oil and Lubricants,
procurement storage and distribution to different units of Indian Army. RFP, RFI, Purchases,
Tenders, negotiations, conclusion and operation of Contracts for supplies and Civil Hired
Transport.
Formulated, organized and conducted training and performance appraisal of sub-ordinates at
various levels.
Transport and Convoy Management. Handled over 400 transport vehicles including their
maintenance and operations.
Security of Installation, land and encroachment, infrastructure, men material and information
right through the 21 + years of service in the Indian Army.
