Focus: Create a game that allows other 4th graders to improve their skills with
fractions. You may choose one or more of the following topics:

Adding Fractions

Comparing Fractions

Subtracting Fractions

Ordering Fractions

Identifying Fractions

Simplifying Fractions

Equivalent Fractions
Must include a written copy of:

Number of players

Instructions: object of the game, rules of the game & how to keep score
Listed are a few game choices you may choose from.

**Make sure to bring in all materials needed to play the game.**
Rubric:
4: Student created a well organized, original fraction game using one or more of the topics
listed above. Student included clear, well written instructions. The game is engaging for all
students.
3: Student created a well organized fraction game using one of the topics listed above.
Students included well written instructions.
2: Student created a somewhat organized fraction game using one of the topics listed above.
Students’ instructions were unclear and/or missing information.
