Homeboy Liquors Productions will present The Stetson Manifesto, a play about the
clash of a corporation and a western ranch, as part of the 12-day San Francisco Fringe
Festival, September 5 through 16, 2007. The Stetson Manifesto plays 9/6 at 10pm, 9/8 at
2:30pm, 9/11 at 7pm and 9/15 at 5:30pm. All shows are at the EXIT Theatre in
downtown San Francisco.
Fueled by whiskey, tradition and Tennessee Ernie Ford records, an aging cowboy leads
a revolt against a technology-hungry
world of unyielding corporate culture.
Under his influence, a young ranch
hand must face difficult choices to
retain his integrity and career. The
Stetson Manifesto is a darkly comedic,
modern western in the vein of Clifford
Odets, Sam Shepard and Horton Foote.

The 2007 San Francisco Fringe Festival,
September 5 through 16, brings nearly
40 different shows to ten venues. Most
are within walking distance of Union
Square and the Powell Street BART
station. Fringe venues include EXIT Theatre & EXIT Stage Left (156 Eddy), EXIT on
Taylor (277 Taylor). Non-Traditional Fringe Venues (NTFVs) include Original Joe’s
Cabaret Room (144 Taylor St.), Phoenix Theatre Annex (414 Mason Street Room 406),
The Garage (975 Howard Street), First Unitarian (1187 Franklin Street), and Hotel Bijou
Rialto Room (111 Mason Street). For complete listings of venues, shows, and times, go

with ten-show passes at $65 and five-show passes at $35.

John Hamilton (Playwright/Producer) was a founding member and contributor to the
San Francisco based American-Irish theatre company Brown Bread Productions from
1995 to 1997. Over the past ten years he has served as playwright, producer, technical
director, director and sound designer on various San Francisco stage productions
including: his collection of short plays Altitudinis (Brown Bread Productions, 1997), The
Daily Decline of Dick and Jane (Storytime Productions, 1998), a collaboration with Jeremy
Greco, and Motel Cowboy (Homeboy Liquors Productions, 2005). His film, Saloon Song
(Homeboy Liquors Productions, 2002), garnered an "Honorable Mention" at the Berkeley
Video & Film Festival. John received his B.A. in Creative Writing from Florida State
University in 1991.
Jeremy Julian Greco (Director), formerly Jeremy Jorgenson, is a San Francisco-based
playwright and producer. He received his B.A. degree in Drama from San Francisco
State University (2002) and is a founding member of Pullover Productions. His prior
work, The Thrilling Adventures of Elvis in Space, played at the 2004 San Francisco Fringe
Festival. The sequel, Elvis in Space 2: Elvis Rex, played at the 2006 San Francisco Fringe
Festival. He was a collaborative writer for In Light of Recent Events (dir. Bill Peters),
which appeared at the San Francisco Marsh and at the Actor's Theatre in Santa Cruz,
both in 2002. His first production, The Daily Decline of Dick and Jane, performed at the
Jewel Theatre in 1998. His other play The Foreskin of Christ: A Musical, suffered many
curses and is now tucked away in a drawer. His next work, I,W, will play in the fall of
2008.
Faith Aeryn (Billie) is a self-described actress, artist, and “bon vivant” who was born in
New Jersey, raised in San Diego, and is thrilled to be participating in the great theatrical
tradition in San Francisco. She became a "Nor Cal transplant" in 2000 to study at the
Academy of Art, then earned her B.A. degree in Drama from San Francisco State
University. She was able to study abroad at the British American Drama Academy’s
“Midsummer in Oxford Program,” as well as at San Francisco’s own A.C.T.
Joe Carrig (Catfish) began his acting career in the Chicago area. Among other
performances, he appeared as Shooter, in Sam Shepherd’s Action; Tom, in The Glass
Menagerie; Cassius, in Julius Caesar; and Bo, in Only You. He has also studied at the
National Shakespeare Conservatory in New York and at the Royal National Theatre’s
Summer Conservatory in London. Since relocating to San Francisco, he has appeared in
various theatre productions including Theatre District, at the New Conservatory Theatre
Center; Pinteresque, with the Eastenders Repertory Theatre; and the SF Acting
Academy’s Fifth Year Anniversary Celebration. He has also appeared in various
independent films.
Nick Frangione (Rory) is a working actor in both stage and screen in the Bay Area. He
studied theatre at Temple University and at the Academy of Art University.
