How The Sun Was formed?
In space there are huge clouds of gases and dust. New stars are
made when parts of the gases and dust join together and form a tight
mass. The mass make heat. As the mass of gases and dust gets smaller
the center of the mass gets hotter. Then the center becomes so hot
that the mass of gases and dust begins to shine as a star. Scientists
believe the sun was made from a mass of gases and dust. They think
the planets were formed from gases and dust that form at different
distances from the center of the sun.
How Was the Solar System Formed
People believe that our solar system was formed from a giant
rotating cloud of gas and small parts of rock and metals. This cloud is
called a nebula according to this theory, the solar nebula started to
shrink. As it got smaller it spun faster then flatten.
into a disk. Scientists believe that particles within the flattened disk.
Some scientists think that particles in the flattened disk then smashed
into each other and sucked together and made a asteroid-sized object.
Some of these object formed plants. Others made moons , asteroid , and
comets.
Most of the material in the nebula was pulled into the center and
formed the sun. According to the theory the pressure in the center
became great enough to make the nuclear reactions that powered the
sun. Eventually the solar eruptions occurred casing a solar wind. In the
center of the solar system the wind was so strong that it blow away most
of the lighter objects. In the outer regions of the solar system but the
solar wind was much weaker . As a result much more gas remained on
the outer planets. That’s why the inner planets are small rocky worlds
and the outer planets are giant balls of gas.
