Varsity/J.V. athletes are to bring separate gym clothes because the varsity locker

LOCK ALL OF YOUR BELONGINGS IN YOUR ASSIGNED LOCKER
DURING CLASS. IF YOU LEAVE ITEMS OUT, THEY WILL PROBABLY
BE STOLEN.
Do not give you lock combination to anyone else.
Make sure you understand and properly use the locker system. The larger
lockers are to be used ONLY DURING your gym hour. The smaller lockers are
for overnight use for your personal belongings the entire semester. If you store
your items in the large lockers overnight, your lock and clothes will be
confiscated.
DRESS CODE: shorts or sweats (no cut-off jeans or boxers), T-shirts or
sweatshirts (no button-up shirts), athletic shoes (no street shoes or sandals).
YOU RECEIVE 3 “NO DRESS DAYS” PER SEMESTER. With the “no dress
day” you can still receive points if you participate. Thereafter, all points will be
lost.
After you have changed at the end of the hour, you are to stand behind the
yellow line and wait for the bell to ring.
ABSENCE POLICY:
All absences must be made up. This must be done within two weeks of the
absence in order to receive the 10 daily points. This includes field trips, athletic
events that require early dismissal, appointments, sickness,… etc.
To make up an absence it is required that you run 1 mile.
If you are unable to participate due to illness or injury for an extended
period of time, these absences will still have to be made up in order to receive credit.
In the case of serious injuries it is a good idea to bring a doctor’s note
regarding restrictions and the time frame for which you will be inactive.
If enough absences are accumulated for whatever reason, it is possible that
you may have to retake the class or be removed from the class.
