Title: Road to the Revolution

Teaching Task: Argumentative Task 6
After reading the textbook, primary documents and historical fiction novels, write a letter
to a relative that discusses the American colonist’s decision to rebel. Be sure to support
your position with evidence from the readings.
Essential Question: Were there events that justified the colonial decision to rebel?
