329.League of Nations: was an inter-governmental organization founded as a result of
the Treaty of Versailles in 1919–1920. At its greatest extent from 28 September
1934 to 23 February 1935, it had 58 members.
330.Mandate: a binding obligation issued from an inter-governmental organization
like the United Nations to a country which is bound to follow the instructions of
the organization.
331.Treaty of Brest-Litovsk: was a peace treaty signed on March 3, 1918, at BrestLitovsk (now Brest, Belarus) between the Russian SFSR and the Central Powers,
marking Russia's exit from World War I.
