GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
CLEAN CAMPUS: Red flag!
ASB ELECTION: YOUR VOTE COUNTS!! Voting on Tuesday-Thursday. Only Juniors, Sophomores and Freshmen are eligible to
vote. Go to www.votingforschools.com/lincolnhigh or use the Vote4Schools App to vote for next year’s Student Council. Winners
will be posted on the door of the Activities Office at 3:00pm on Friday!
COUNSELORS AVAILABLE: Counselors will be available during lunch on 02/21 and 02/22 in the gazebo to answer any
registration questions.
TOD ANTON SCHOLARSHIP: The 2017 Tod Anton Scholarship is now available. They are giving away four $500 scholarships.
Deadline is March 6, 2017. Please check our Lincoln website or see Mrs. Hernandez at the Ed Planning Center for an application
form.
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS: Local scholarships have arrived. (North Rotary, CA Retired Teachers plus many more.) If you're major
in Education, engineering, business, please make sure you stop by the Ed Planning Center and sign up to receive the EPC
Scholarship Newsletter.
WIZARD OF OZ: Lincoln High School is putting on the Wizard of Oz this coming May. If you love to sing, dance, act or be a part of
our stage crew, please come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 3:30 p.m. in room 1201, the choir room.
Auditions will be on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24th at 3:30pm.

MOCK TRIAL: Lincoln's Mock Trial team successfully completed its first week of the San Joaquin County Mock Trial
Championships with clean sweep wins over rival Mountain House and McNair High Schools. The team is led by senior attorneys
Sophia Boisa and Stephen Hodges and junior attorney Amanda Jaroen. If you are interested in joining next year’s mock trial teamsee Mr. Kulm in room 2105.
CAREERS WITH CHILDREN: Are you interested in working with young children? Are you interested in becoming an elementary or
preschool teacher? Would you like to earn college credit? If you are a current sophomore or junior, register for "Careers with
Children". Applications are available in the Student Service Center or Mrs. Malloy's room (SL4). You may also request
an application and submit it online by emailing Mrs. Malloy at [email protected]. Applications are due by March 3rd.
STUDENT MENTOR: Become a Student Mentor for Freshman Seminar! Earn community service hours! Information sessions will
be held on Wednesday and Thursday, March 7 and 8, 2017 in room 1334, 11:30am – 12:00pm. Submit your application to become

COMPUTER SCIENCE: Computer Science is the Number One Major at College campuses...If you want to be a part of the future
Meet, at Lunch Wednesday February 22, in Room 1118 with Mr. Seibert's to discuss next years AP Computer Science A
Class...AND Your Future. Class size is limited to 24, don't be left out...If you attended last week's session, you do NOT need to
attend this session.
KAPLAN’S SAT PREPATHON: On Sunday, March 5th from 9am-3pm, Kaplan will be hosting free, nonstop, Live Online prep
sessions to help students get ready for the SAT on March 11 th. For more information and to sign up for this free event, please visit

AP WORLD HISTORY: AP World History Introductory meetings will be held on Wednesday 2/22 from 3:05 to 3:45pm in room 2105.
AP BIOLOGY: Interested in taking AP Biology next year? Are you ready for some jam-packed, fun-filled labs, activities, and
lectures? Then stop by room 1128 on Wednesday 1/22 during lunch to hear Mrs. Zollinger explain how awesome AP Biology is and
why you should take the class! See you there!
AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE: Any student interested in taking AP environmental science next year must attend a mandatory
meeting Thurs., 2/23 at lunch in room 1117.
GRAD NIGHT: The count down has begun - Grad night tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 1st. Buy in March for only $30
and get 25 raffle tickets for the Grad Night Drawing. Buy early for the best deal. Tickets are available in room 1104 during lunch.

Girls basketball home vs. Pitman
POWDER PUFF: Application packets will be available for players, coaches and cheerleaders on Wednesday, February 8 in the
Activities Office. Team size is strictly limited to 60 players each (only 10 senior spots left) and 7 coaches each (only 2 senior spots
left) so get your packets in early! First come, first served on number choice! They are due during lunch by Thursday, March 2 by
noon unless the teams are filled first!!
SENIOR VS. STAFF DODGEBALL: The game will take place on Wednesday, March 1 at 5:30pm in the new gym.
X-SPORTS: All students enrolled in X-sports can pick up their quarter 3 grade sheets in Study Hall or in the Athletics’ Office. Mr.
Agnew will put grade sheets in Study Hall or you can pick them in the Athletics’ Office between 10-1 Monday-Friday.
WRESTLING: Help support your wrestling team. They have new spirit items available; please see Gloria Cajio in the Admin. Office.
