GENERAL ANNOUNCEMENTS
CLEAN CAMPUS: Red flag!
COUNSELORS AVAILABLE: Counselors will be available during lunch on 02/21 and 02/22 in the gazebo to answer any
registration questions.
TOD ANTON SCHOLARSHIP: The 2017 Tod Anton Scholarship is now available. They are giving away four $500 scholarships.
Deadline is March 6, 2017. Please check our Lincoln website or see Mrs. Hernandez at the Ed Planning Center for an application
form.
SENIOR SCHOLARSHIPS: Local scholarships have arrived. (North Rotary, CA Retired Teachers plus many more.) If you're major
in Education, engineering, business, please make sure you stop by the Ed Planning Center and sign up to receive the EPC
Scholarship Newsletter.
WIZARD OF OZ: Lincoln High School is putting on the Wizard of Oz this coming May. If you love to sing, dance, act or be a part of
our stage crew, please come to our informational meeting on Wednesday, February 15th at 3:30 p.m. in room 1201, the choir room.
Auditions will be on Feb. 23 and Feb. 24th at 3:30pm.

COMPUTER SCIENCE: Computer Science is the Number One Major at College campuses...If you want to be a part of the future
Meet, at Lunch Wednesday February 22, in Room 1118 with Mr. Seibert's to discuss next years AP Computer Science A
Class...AND Your Future. Class size is limited to 24, don't be left out...If you attended last week's session, you do NOT need to
attend this session.

AP SPANISH: Spanish lovers! Are you thinking about taking the AP Spanish language and culture class next year? Then, come
to one of the meetings TODAY in room 2202 at lunch or after school to get information about how the class is designed, its content
and about the AP exam. ¡Nos vemos!
AP WORLD HISTORY: AP World History Introductory meetings will be held on Tuesday 2/21 and Wednesday 2/22 from 3:05 to
3:45pm in room 2105.
AP ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE: Any student interested in taking AP environmental science next year must attend a mandatory
meeting Thurs., 2/23 at lunch in room 1117.
GRAD NIGHT: The count down has begun - Grad night tickets will go on sale on Wednesday, March 1st. Buy in March for only $30
and get 25 raffle tickets for the Grad Night Drawing. Buy early for the best deal. Tickets are available in room 1104 during lunch.
MOCK TRIAL: Lincoln's Mock Trial team successfully completed its first week of the San Joaquin County Mock Trial
Championships with clean sweep wins over rival Mountain House and McNair High Schools. The team is led by senior attorney's
Sophia Boisa and Stephen Hodges and junior attorney Amanda Jaroen. If you are interested in joining next years mock trial team-
see Mr. Kulm in room 2105.

SPEAKER MAYOR MICHAEL TUBBS: In celebration of Black History Month, BSU is pleased to have Mayor Michael Tubbs speak
during lunch Tuesday 2/21 at 11:30 in the new Performing Arts Theater. All students are invited to come and ask the
youngest mayor pressing questions and concerns.
TROJAN SPORTS
POWDER PUFF: Application packets will be available for players, coaches and cheerleaders on Wednesday, February 8 in the
Activities Office. Team size is strictly limited to 60 players each and 7 coaches each so get your packets in early! First come, first
served on number choice! They are due during lunch by Thursday, March 2 by noon unless the teams are filled first!!
SENIOR VS. STAFF DODGEBALL: The game will take place on Wednesday, March 1 at 5:30pm in the new gym.
WRESTLING: Help support your wrestling team. They have new spirit items available; please see Gloria Cajio in the Admin. Office.
X-SPORTS: Students enrolled in X-sports can pick up their quarter 3 grade sheets in Study Hall or in the Athletic’s
Office. Mr. Agnew will put grade sheets in Study Hall or you can pick them in the Athletic’s Office between 10-1
Monday-Friday.”
