Our company keeps intensive cooperation with many specialist agencies, R&D institutions and universities to promote new products and technology of the distribution as well as innovations in technology of power. 2.Product Description The power distribution online monitoring system, which is made by our company, is applied to the overhead power distribution network automatic system from 6KV to 60KV. It is used to improve the safe and reliable operating performance through centralized monitoring the current, temperature, earth fault and short-circuit fault condition on the power distribution circuit. 3.Main Function The new type fault indicator is used to monitor the line current, temperature and fault information. And then it sends the information to the DTU on the nearby transmission pole through wireless communication. After receiving the data, the GPRS/CDMA data terminal starts to verify and process according to 104 communication protocol, then sends the data to the backstage software through GPRS/CDMA network. The monitoring part of the backstage software collects the line information sent by the DTU all over the whole electric network to process, store and alarm. The backstage software includes the monitoring part and WEB webpage service part. The monitoring part of the backstage software collects the line information sent by the DTU. And the WEB webpage service part is for generating various dynamic monitoring page and graph. System Composition Three main parts: 1、Detecting terminal 2、GPRS/DTU Data Transmission Terminal Unit (GPRS/CDMA-DTU) 3、Backstage Monitoring Software I Detecting Terminal The Detecting terminal has been added current measurement, temperature measurement and wireless communications on the basis of the traditional short circuit fault and earth fault two-in-one indicator. Detecting terminal The main parts: 1) Two-way circlip 2) Identifier 3) The body of detecting terminal 4) The displaying part The circlip is used to fixed the detecting terminal and wire. The two-way circlip can fixed firmly the detecting terminal on the wire and balance magnetic field. The working current is less than 30μA in the standby mode. It can run more than 5-8 years on condition of only supply by the internal battery. ﹡With the traditional indicating function, the Detecting terminal also can monitor short-circuit fault and earth fault of the system. When these two faults occur, the indicator in front of the fault point will indicate red flag to alarm. The operator can find out the fault point by checking the indicator. ﹡The Detecting terminal measures the line current through the internal induction coil The measurement range is from 0 to 600A . The error range is not more than +5%. This value can be as the subsidiary condition for judging the line work state, also can be used for qualitative measurement. ﹡With the wire temperature measurement, the Detecting terminal can get the real time temperature on the power lines through the temperature transducer installed in the wire pressing slot. This can provide data for line dynamic capacity. In normal condition, the error of the measurement is not more than +2℃. ﹡Through the internal wireless communication module, the Detecting terminal sends the measurements and alarming results to the nearby GPRS/CDMA-DTU. Through the high-frequency wireless module, it receives the measurement and alarming data. After storing and processing the data, it connects with GPRS/CDMA communication network by the mobile module and connects with the backstage server by GPRS/CDMA network. According to the agreed communication protocol, it sends the monitoring data to the backstage server and receives the control command sent by the backstage server to achieve the bidirectional controllable operation of the whole monitoring system. Adopting low power consumption design for the DTU, the average operating current of the DTU is less than 50mA. When the lead-acid battery is filled, it can operate steadily more than 10 days without the energy supplied by the solar panel.The control main board is used to achieve the operating control of the whole DTU,including the measurement of the voltage of the battery, charge control, wireless module control and GPRS networking communication control. Features of GPRS-DTU ☆The lead-acid battery is used to supply working energy for the GPRS/CDMA-DTU. Then the users can get the operating state of the whole power distribution network easily. The Backstage Monitoring software adopts the B-S structure, and includes the monitoring software part and WEB webpage service part. Server installed SQL-Server2000, Tomcat 5 web-server software and Windows XP operating system are required. The monitoring software is used for controlling the DTU networking, and receiving the data, judging and storing the data. Control the DTU through the SMS car. Receive the message data from the DTU and send the fault message. The Webpage service software is used for monitoring the webpage and viewing the monitoring data through the browser. Every LAN (local area network) computer can be used to check the monitoring information. (1) Monitoring Software The backstage monitoring software works as background server. It requires a fixed public network IP address and opens the 2404 interface, which is used for receiving monitoring data and the application of the SMS receiving and sending. After the start of monitoring software, it’s necessary to enter right user name and password for safety. Figure 5 Main Interface of Backstage Monitoring Software Main interface includes: System Menu, System Information Area and Data Display Area. ★System Menu: above the main interface, it can control various monitoring and display data by operating the system menu. ★System Information Area: on the left side of the main interface, used for displaying User unit, IP address, Monitoring port, SMS car serial port, Master control phone number and subordinate phone number. ★Data Display Area: on the right side of the main interface, used for displaying the condition of network, installation information and various data receiving in chart. Switch the display interface by the submenu in the display menu of list. (2)Webpage Service Software Webpage service software is used for making the dynamic webpage. Every LAN computer can be used to check the monitoring data and for printing. For server host, you can input the website in browser to access the monitoring webpage. The website is “http://localhost:8080/pdjc/monitor.htm”. For LAN (local area network), replace the “localhost” with IP address.
