FLOWER/FRUIT: Orange-red with yellow inside, narrow
funnel up to 2 inches. Flowers whorl around terminal
ends. Fruit is red ovoid berries (green and orange
before mature).
LEAVES: Opposite, oblong to ovate,
terminal end leaves are “fused at the
base” of the flowering shoot. Leaves are
up to 3 inches long with blue-green color,
and a whitish/bluish waxy coating on
bottom side of leaf.
FORM: Semi-evergreen, climbing vine.
BARK/STEM: Twining, light brown in
color.
