which color absorb the most heat. The learner will determine how colors are made.
LAB 1: How does a spectroscope work? MATERIALS: tube, black paper, diffraction grating, light. Cut a slit in the dark paper. Place
at the end of tube and diffraction grating as eyepiece. Look at the light and record your results.
LAB 2: Which color is the hottest? MATERIALS: thermometers, light, colored filters, water, graph paper, cups. Place water and
thermometers in cups. Cover with colored plastic filters and measure temperature.
LAB 3: What happens when colors combine? MATERIALS: PHET COLOR COMPUTER PROGRAM. Blend two colors together at a
