ETHIOPIA CAN OFFER FOR FINNISH COMPANIES?
Ethiopia is going forward. The Ethiopian economy is likely to grow by 7.3 percent in 2017. The new Addis Ababa-Djibouti
railway line is expected to boost trade. The Government is stepping up on the agricultural sector and is looking to attract
more foreign direct investment. Ethiopia also wants to produce the majority of its energy with renewables. Join us and
learn about the many business opportunities that the Ethiopian market can offer for Finnish companies.

Mr. Olivier Poujade is a Steering Committee member of the EU Business Forum in Ethiopia, the local EU
chamber of commerce, and the co-Managing Partner of East Africa Gate (EAGate) a consulting firm based in
Addis Ababa advising European investors on the Ethiopian market. He is also a member of the business climate
improvement technical committee between the Ethiopian Government and the European business and diplomatic
communities.
EAGate is a consulting firm co-founded by Mr. Olivier Poujade (French) and Ms. Tigist Getachew Araya
(Ethiopian) that has become a leader on the Ethiopian market of the support for European investors interested in
tapping into the local market opportunities. With a team of ten experts, specialised in investment framework,
finance and government relations, it has developed a substantial track record in partner identification, business
