Spelling Contract
Use your spelling words to complete this spelling contract. You may select any combination of activities to do each week
based on the grade scale below. You may only do each activity once a week for point credit. All the spelling words must
be spelled correctly! Your work should be done on loose-leaf paper or computer paper and attached to your weekly
spelling ticket. Your work should be done neatly and turned in on Friday morning.
A=9-10 points B=8 points
C=7 points
D=6 points F=5 points or below
Worth 1 Points Each
1. Alphabetize your spelling words (A to Z).
2. Alphabetize your spelling words in reverse order (Z to A).
3. Write each spelling word and circle the vowels and underline the consonants.
4. Write each spelling word NEATLY in pen.
5. Write each spelling word NEATLY in cursive.
6. Write each spelling word in different colors.
7. Scramble the letters in each word. Write the answer next to each scrambled word.
8. Write each spelling word and then find the fraction of vowels. (e.g. fraction 3/8)

9. Create spelling stairs for each spelling word. (e.g. f fr fra frac fract fracti fractio fraction)
10. Write a sensible sentence for each of your spelling words. (Circle/highlight the spelling words)
