GENERAL TERMS & CONDITIONS
Note-1 :- Please read all the terms & conditions. After understanding the implications of
all terms & conditions, you are advised to quote your most competitive rates / prices in
the PRICE BID.
Note- 2 :- The rates to be quoted shall be valid up to 15-03-2015. The RATES / PRICES
to be quoted shall be inclusive of all taxes including excise duty, octroi, consignment
taxes, sales tax, work contract tax or any other such taxes. Also, the RATES / PRICES
shall be inclusive of transportation, handling charges, insurance etc. and all inclusive for
supply at the work site. The price is also inclusive of labour component and it shall be the
Net rate / price. The rates / prices shall be firm during the validity period of tender
rates. Hence the tenderers are advised to take into account the possible fluctuations in the
prices of various components in this duration / coming year and quote their prices
accordingly.
Note-3 :- Please note that any variations or deviations affecting the costing of the rates,
details of such variations and cost implication should be highlighted in the technical bid
only. For example any of the additional features over and above the specification which
are part of the standard supply, they may be furnished in the technical bid. It will be
construed that the quoted rates are inclusive of such extra features.
Note-4 :- Please note that the rates shall include the cost of tests which are to be under
taken at shop / factory, Govt. Laboratories and installation sites. The specified tests are
to be submitted with each supply for each UPS system. These tests are to be
undertaken at tenderers own cost and expenses and there shall be no extra payment on
such testings. The rates / prices to be quoted shall be inclusive of these.
Note-5 :- The rates are to be quoted per unit and as per the details given in the
commercial bid. As & when the requirement arises, the orders at the finalized rates will
be issued to successful / finalized vendors. The Bank may at its discretion accept the
requirement detailed in this tender either fully or partially. Bank reserves its right to split
the orders between the tenderers, without assigning any reason to this effect. Bank also
reserves its right to supply the required batteries directly at its discretion. In such an event
the successful tenderers, will be required to maintain the batteries after the warranty
period of the batteries.

Note-6 :- An amount of 5% will be withheld as retention money for a period of one year
from the date of installation.
Note-7 :- The successful tenderers have to keep one set of standby UPS system of each
category exclusively for CANARA BANK for which their rates are standardized or they
are empanelled. In case they do not have standby, their empanelment are subject to be
cancelled.
Note-8 :- The successful tenderers have to submit quarterly service report of their
existing as well as new UPS system regularly failing which their empanelment are
subject to be cancelled.
Note-9 :- The Bank reserves the right to accept or reject any or all tenders without
assigning any reasons. The Bank also reserves the right to dissolve the panel at any time
without assigning any reasons. The Bank also reserves the right to remove any or all
successful tenderers from panel at any time without assigning any reasons.
Note-10 :- The successful tenderers have to submit the details of service network in the
states of Madhya Pradesh along with names / phone numbers / mobile and addresses of
officials and service engineers etc. The tenderers should have sufficient numbers of
service centers / service engineers geographically spread to provide maintenance service
immediately to the sites.
This is a prerequisite condition to consider the tenders eligible for empanelment.
Note-11 :- Conditional offers will be summarily rejected.

REQUIRED SPECIFICATIONS:
2. SERVO CONTROLLED VOLTAGE STABILIZER: Design, Manufacture,
testing at shop / factory and supply, installation & commissioning and testing at site
(means any branch / office of Canara Bank in Madhya Pradesh) of Servo controlled
Voltage Stabilizer as per capacity mentioned to be connected in bye-pass circuit to
Hot-Standby or Stand Alone UPS and complying all technical specifications /
features matching with UPS system.
3. BATTERY BANK WITH BOTH OPTIONS A) TUBLAR BATTERIES
(EXIDE) B) SMF BATTERIES (EXIDE/QUANTA): Supply, Installation,
testing and commissioning of below mentioned configuration TUBLAR/SMF
Batteries to provide required back-up time of 04 hours & Volt-Ampere-Hour
(VAH) as mentioned in this price bid above and complying all the technical
specifications. The battery bank rate shall include the cost of steel stand to house
all the batteries.
WARRANTY : Two years warranty on both UPS and batteries from the date of
installation.
4. COMPREHENSIVE ANNUAL MAINTENANCE CHARGES:
Will be 6% of Basic cost of UPS system and servo controlled Voltage
Stabilizer per annum which is to be valid for 4 years after warranty of 02
years.
Providing Comprehensive maintenance of UPS, Isolation Transformer, as per the
terms & conditions of comprehensive maintenance . Since the batteries are SMF, they
do not require maintenance with spares. However, the UPS vendor has to clean the
batteries and terminals during regular maintenance of UPS system. The maintenance
charges shall include cost of spares / parts which may be required to be replaced as &
when required. The charges quoted shall be per annum and the annual charges are
payable on quarterly basis only. Considering commencement of first year from the
date of commissioning of the UPS & Batteries,
If order for UPS & battery placed and site is not ready because of any problem,
ordered UPS+battery+stabilizer will be kept in company’s godown up till bank’s
further instructions.

Payment terms of AMC Charges
The Comprehensive AMC Charges will be paid annually in four quarters of
equal installments each after expiry of three months on showing service reports
of previous quarters.
DELIVERY: 04 WEEKS (28 DAYS) FROM THE DATE OF FINAL ORDER.
The items must be supplied within 28 days from the date of order failing which Bank
reserves the right to impose liquidated damage at the rate of 1% per week subject to
maximum of 10% of work order value.
Special Note: The rates quoted should be valid up to 30.06.2014_
