-Researched on a project titled “Isolation and characterization of lactic acid producing bacteria from
molasses and bagasse”.
-Facilitated a countrywide Biotechnology awareness programme funded by USaid-Kenya to enlighten
Kenyan farmers about Genetically Modified Organisms and Modern Biotechnology.
-I presented the topic ‘Tools for detecting Genetically Modified Organisms” during the awareness
workshops.
