Sciences and Meteorology

Daniel Dix (’91 and ’94 Geography) will talk
about the science of communicating severe weather.
Mr. Dix is a storm chaser, and he served for 16 years
as Sr. Meteorologist for The Weather Channel in Atlanta,
Georgia. Today he is an Air Quality Dispersion Modeler
for the MN Pollution Control Agency.
