The Karok Tribe by Fishing A plunge net was made by attaching netting to a bendable tree branch. They use a long bendable tree branch, and they use it for fishing. Villages were usually built beside a lake, stream, or river. Balsa canoes were on the shore. This house is made from tule mats and willow, but only men could make a house. The women are preparing food in the baskets. The men are going to find the materials for the house. Weapons They made spears. They used volcanic glass for making knife blades. They chipped deer horns, and then they shaped them until they are sharp horns. They used a bendable branch for the spear body, and used the sharp deer horn for the point.
