ways of implementation”
- analysis of current situation of PPP in
Uzbekistan, legal and institutional frameworks
- policy recommendations on promoting PPP
in Uzbekistan

PPP in Uzbekistan: experiences
According to Public-Private Infrastructure Advisory Facility (PPIAF),
in Uzbekistan in 1990 – 2005 8 PPP projects have been initiated for
$794 mln, in particular in telecom and water supply.

Existing PPP project, inter alia:
in electricity distribution
development of public transport in 5 cities of the country
in improving water supply in Bukhara and Samarqand regions
($62.3 mln)
in oil and gas production in cooperation with companies from
Russia, China and Malaysia (product division agreements)
Under review is the pilot project on gas supply to consumers
