Office of Academic and Student Affairs Computer Science and Engineering Summer Enrollment Courses to take Summer 2016 to reduce your course load or me to degree: 1. Complete any missing major prep courses (Math, Physics) 2. Electrical Engineering (EL ENGR) 3 ‐ Introduc on to Electrical Engineering. Requisite: Physics 1B. This course is a requisite for the circuits sequence and will allow students to take the first circuits course, EE 10, in the Fall. 3. Do NOT take Computer Science (COM SCI 31) ‐ Introduc
on to Computer Science. You will not have any Computer Science courses in the Fall as COM SCI 32 is not offered un l Winter. 4. Computer Science (COM SCI) 32 (Introduc
on to Computer Science II) Requisite: COM SCI 31. If you have credit for COM SCI 31, this will allow you to take COM SCI 33 in the Fall. It is not offered again un l Spring. Summer Advising: 

For transfers from California Community Colleges: First check assist.org to see if the course you took at your community college meets the requisites for the UCLA summer course you are attempt‐
ing to enroll in. 2. If you were unable to determine if you meet the requisite, that is listed for the UCLA summer course, then you may have your community college course(s) or a course taken at another school evaluated. Email [email protected] to initiate a course evaluation request. Again, this pro‐
cess is only required if it is not clear on assist.org how your course transfers over.
