PROSTATE CANCER SUPPORT GROUP Living with prostate cancer and related treatments can be very demanding for patients and their families. This group along with the simultaneously running partners support group will provide the opportunity to meet others in similar situation and to share your stories, provide practical suggestions, and support each other. In addition, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker will provide information on relaxation, techniques for navigating the healthcare system, finding needed resources, and coping with day to day challenges. This group is open to the community. However, due to space limitation, priority is given to patients who receive their treatment at UCLA. When: The 3rd Wednesday of the month, 3:30 pm – 5:00 pm Start date January 20th 2010 Where: 200 UCLA Medical Plaza, Suite502 For more information or to enroll, please call Shane Kennington, LCSW, at (310) 794-6363 In collaboration with the UCLA Oncology Center and the UCLA Clark Urology Center
