Abstract
Ethical judgment and moral behavior are fundamental issues facing
business today. Research in the fields of ethics, business ethics, and
moral judgment continues to examine the factors influencing the
moral development, maturity, and cognizance, and ethical reasoning
abilities of people and their commitment to ethical behavior in
business. This article studies morality, moral development, ethics, and
values and their relationship to education generally and ethics
education and ethics training specifically. The work also includes an
analysis of the effect of various demographic variables on moral
development, maturity, and cognizance.
