S
uzie is a 15-year-old girl. Until a few years ago, she lived her life
as much as any other girl. Today, she practically lives in the hospital.
She was diagnosed with cancer a few years ago and is undergoing
medical treatment at the hospital. It is very sad when children are
diagnosed with a terrible illness like cancer.
Suzie has to undergo chemotherapy which leaves her weak and
unable to move at times. Chemotherapy is used to kill cancer cells
and stop them from spreading in cancer patients. Unfortunately, it
also leaves the patients weak and sickly. Poor Suzie has to be under
the care of doctors and nurses who take care of her. It is not fun to
stay in a hospital. It is depressing and gloomy. Her favourite time of
the week is when her family and Cassey visit her.
