NUR 321 OB Lab: Medication Review

This is a list of medications that you should be familiar with before your OB clinical
rotations. The medications with an * are the ones that you should know thoroughly by
filling out the Medication Forms on the following page. Your text will be helpful in
finding drug information and understanding both the maternal and fetal implications. In
addition, your drug textbooks or UpToDate will also be beneficial. The chart lists only
some of the common medications used in OB, but this will give you a great start.
However, there are other drugs that you may come across and can add these to your chart
and medication form.
