Ekologi Hutan Tropis SUTEDJO EkoHut-paktedjo_12 Lab. Ekologi Hutan Fakultas Kehutanan Universitas Mulawarman EKOLOGI EKOLOGI HUTAN HUTAN SEBAGAI EKOSISTEM 1. Ekosistem itu sebenarnya apa? 2. Bagaimana Ekosistem berfungsi? 3. Mengapa Ekosistem Terganggu? 4. Bagaimana Mengenali Ekosistem Telah Terganggu? 5. Bagaimana Menyembuhkan Ekosistem Terganggu? EKOSISTEM? Terjadi aliran energi (energy flow) 6. Terjadi siklus unsur hara (nutrient cycle) Dapat mengalami gangguan Ekosistem terganggu and proses keterpulihan Faktor Penyebab Gangguan (CHANGES FACTOR) EkoHut-paktedjo_12 1. Faktor internal (dependent factors i.e. competition, predation etc.) 2. Faktor eksternal (independent factors i.e. disaster, both natural and man-made disaster). Kenali ragam ekosistem KELOMPOK EKOSISTEM 1. Ekosistem Perairan (Aquatic Ecosystem) al. laut, sungai, danau. 2. Ekosistem Daratan (Terrestrial Ecosystem/ Land Ecosystem), a.l. hutan, savana, tundra, gurun. The different types of succession) • Primary succession :- establishment of plants on land that has not been previously vegetated. • Secondary succesion: - invasion by plants on land that was previously vegetated. • Allogenic succession: - caused by a change in environmental conditions. • Autogenic succession:- caused by the activities of the plants over time. • Progressive succession:- the community becomes complex and contains more species and biomass over time. • Retrogressive succession:- the community becomes simplistic and contains fewer species and less biomass over time. Sekian Jejaring makanan (food webs) ekosistem kolam Bagaimana belajar menghargai Ekosistem? Seberapa komplit saya mengetahui ragam penyusun ekosistem? Seberapa jauh saya ketahui atribut elemen penyusunnya? Sedalam apa saya mengetahui fungsi ekologis masing-masing elemen ekosistem? – Seberapa jauh saya memahami nilai sosio-ekonomi tiap elemen? – Seberapa nyata interaksi langsung saya dengan fungsi sosio-ekonomi tsb? Buatlah skema jejaring makanan (food webs) untuk ekosistem hutan tropis • Tulisan warna hijau....produser/n • Tulisan warna biru....konsumen Herbivor • Tulisan warna cokelat.....konsumen predator • Tulisan warna merah....konsumen carnivor • Tulisan warna hitam....konsumen perombak (dekomposer) Edelweiss-Bromo Temporarily Pond Elemen Penyusun Ekosistem (matarantai ekosistem) Grazing Food Chain A food chain can be grazing food chain or detritus food chain. 1. The grazing food chain is a model that describes the general flow of energy in communities. 2. The detritus food chain differs from the grazing food chain in several significant ways. First, the organisms found in this chain are, in general, physically smaller. Second, the functional roles of the different organisms do not fall as neatly into categories as does the grazing food chain's trophic levels. Dampak Pembangunan Dan Keanekaan Hayati (Humans Activities and Biodiversity loss) • The most obvious impact of humans activities on ecosystems is the loss of biodiversity. • The number of extinctions caused by human domination of ecosystems has been steadily increasing since the start of the Industrial Revolution. • The frequency of species extinctions is correlated to the size of human population on the Earth. • This size of the human population is directly related to resource consumption, land-use change, and environmental degradation. Accumulative Impact food chains / food webs Terrestrial ecosystem food chain Food webs Food webs Acuatic Ecosystem food Chain Trophic levels NUTRIENT CYCLE Phosphorus Cycle Nitrogen Cycle Nitrogen Cycle Sulphur cycle Carbon cycle Carbon Cycle Retrogressive Succession • Succession where the plant community becomes simplistic and contains fewer species and less biomass over time. Ecosystem changes • In recent years, the impact of humans has caused a number of dramatic changes to a variety of ecosystems found on the Earth. • Humans use and modify natural ecosystems through agriculture, forestry, recreation, urbanization, and industry.
