San Antonio is in North America. San Antonio is east of New Mexico. Five Themes of Geography Place Every place on Earth has features that distinguish it from other places…things that make it special. Think about San Antonio and the surrounding area, what makes it unique from other cities? Five Themes of Geography Place Physical Characteristics-- Naturally occurring elements within our world, they include landforms, vegetation, and climate.
