Our building has three floors.
There is a single broadband Internet connection.
There are two main servers: an organisational WWW
server and an organisational Email server. The location
of these is still to be finalised.
It has five main divisional units: Finance, Sales,
Marketing, Support and IT. There are up to 100 staff in
each department, and their operating area. Each
member of staff can have up to two wireless devices (a
notebook and a PDA).

Each department should connect to their own network,
and there should then be a connection for all of these
to the main network connection, which has the email
server and the WWW server.
There are local WWW servers for each divisional unit.
The organisation has only one IP address, which has
been allocated to the main network connection.
The building is an old stone building, with solid floors,
and is in the middle of a city, beside a busy road.
There is the capacity to run networking cables between
network devices, but all the users should connect to
the unit networks using a wireless device.
