ANCIENT CHINA
The first Chinese civilization was formed in the basin of the
Yellow River, where almost 500 years of rule by the Shang dynasty
(Yin), until about 1057 BC its lands were won by tribe Zhou, who
established the Zhou dynasty. The first farmers in northern China
grew millet, and bred cattle and pigs. They may live in holes dug
in the ground and covered with a thatched roof. Famous Chinese
Zhou Dynasty went to war chariots. Chariot had no seats, it could
only stand.

In the middle of the second millennium BC, the
area was inhabited by numerous tribes of the Yellow
River hunters and fishermen. The main occupation
was agriculture ancient Chinese. This was facilitated
by a mild, temperate climate, fertile soil and plenty
of moisture. In the fields grew millet, wheat, barley,
rice.
