TISSUES
These are group of cells that are structurally
similar and perform function.
These are of two types1.Plant tissues.
2.Animal tissues.
MERITEMATIC TISSUE
The tissues having dividing cells
that help in growth.
These are of three types1.Apical tissue
2.Intercalary tissue
3.Lateral tissue
PLANT TISSUES
The tissues which are present in
plants are called PLANT TISSUES.
These are of two types-
1.Merismetic tissues.
2.Permanent tissues.
APICAL TISSUES-These tissues are
at shoot or root tip. It increases the
length of the stem and the root.
INTERCALARY TISSUES-These
tissues are at the base of leaves or
enter nodes.
LATERAL TISSUES-These tissues are
at the sides of the stem.
PERMANENT TISSUES
The tissues having cells that have lost
their ability to divide and have
differentiated.
It is of three types1. Parenchyma tissues
2. Collenchyma tissues
3.Sclerenchyma tissues
PARENCHYMA- Unspecialized
cells with thin cell walls. They
have large spaces between
them are called Intercellular
Spaces.
Acleranchyma-
