How They Work
 An ultrasound machine sends sound waves into the
body using a transducer.
 The waves then reflect off the organs back towards the
transducer.
 From there they are turned into electrical waves and
sent into a sonogram.

Drug Delivery
 Using ultrasounds in drug delivery is a very new topic.
 It is being tested right now on rabbits.
 The drug would be delivered through the cornea.

 This makes dealing with illnesses with the eyes easier
to treat.
 This study proved that it can work but needs much
more testing.
 As of right now there are serious risk of doing this

 Ultrasounds have come a very long way over the years.
 They can be used in a number of medical procedures.
 It can be used for pregnancies, injections, and now
even drug delivery.
 There has been great use for this technology and new
discoveries are being made.
