Alison Semrad, D.O. Clinical Interests Thyroid Cancer, Iodine-Refractory Thyroid cancer Dr. Semrad is an Associate Health Sciences Clinical Professor in Endocrinology. At the Betty Irene Moore School of Nursing at UC Davis she serves as the medical director for the physician assistant program as well as an instructor of record for the first year NPPA Endocrine course. She is a Cofellowship director for the Endocrinology Fellowship program as well as a faculty mentor for medical students. She co-founded UC Davis Medical Center's newly established multidisciplinary thyroid cancer clinic. She co-chairs the Endocrine tumor board with the Department of Otolaryngology and Endocrine Surgery and Medical Oncology. Her clinical interests include thyroid cancer. Semrad's research interests focus on health outcomes in thyroid cancer and iodine-refractory thyroid cancer.
