Phrases you might hear

How you can help at home
• Practise letter formation
• Help them to learn to spell the tricky words
• Physical activities- going on climbing frames,
using playdough,
• Get them to write at home for different
purposes (shopping lists, menu for dinners for
the week, signs and labels for their models and
pictures, plans of what they are going to
make).
• Support with holding a pencil correctly.
