IAAI-97 Application Nomination Form
In order to broaden the scope of IAAI and to maintain the high standards of the Innovative Application award, the IAAI
Program Committee would like to enlist the aid of the entire AI community to identify innovative deployed applications
of AI for possible inclusion in the Deployed Application track of IAAI-97 and selection as Innovative Application award
winners. If you know of an AI application that is technically innovative and is in operational use, we would like you to
nominate it. Applications that are nominated will be encouraged to submit papers to IAAI-97. A program committee
member will contact a representative of the nominated application to assess the likelihood of the application’s selection as
an award winner and, if desired, to provide guidance for preparation and submission of a paper. Papers resulting from the
nomination process will be reviewed together with papers submitted directly in response to the Call for Papers in order to
ensure that all papers accepted for the conference meet the same standards. In order to allow time for the program committee to follow-up on nominated applications, please nominate any application as soon as possible, but not later than
November 1, 1996.
