Objective: In this experiment we performed DC analysis of circuits by
sweeping DC sources and resistances.We also used the application of resistance
sweep to study maximum power transform theorem.

There are some possible applications of DC sweep.They are voltage source
sweep,temperature sweep,current source sweep,parameter value sweep etc.
DC voltage source sweep is useful to determine node voltages with the change
of time. DC resistance sweep is useful to determine thevenin’s equivallent
resistance using maximum power transfer theorem.
Answer to the que no : 4
Maximum power transform theorem can be used to determine the Thevenin’s
equivalent resistance of a circuit. According to the maximum power transform
theorem,maximum power will be transformed to load resistance when the load
resistance is equal to the thevenin’s equivalent resistance between the two
nodes of load resistance.Using this theorem,we can determine thevenin’s
equivalent resistance.To do this,we have to see ,for which value of the load
resistance,we are getting the maximum power.And that value will be the value
of thevenin’s equivallent resistance.
Conclution : In this experiment, we performed DC analysis of circuits by
sweeping DC source and resistance.We also studied maximum power transform
theorem by using the application of resistance sweep.Now ,we can obtain
thevenin’s equivallent resistance by using maximum power transform theorem
by resistance sweeping.
