What is it?
~ is bacteria found on the surface of your skin and
can be a gastrointestinal illness
~ can come from food that hasn't been stored
properly
How or where do you get it?
~ you can get it from foods that are handled people who have
Staph infection
~ you can also get Staph from areas where foods have touched
where it has not been sanitized correctly
~ you can get it when the bacteria
gets in your skin through a cut or
open wound

How to prevent it?
~keep areas cleans.
~ wash hands and underneath fingernails before
cooking and preparing foods.
~ keep kitchen area clean and well sanitized
What are the symptoms?

~Mild fever
~Stomach cramps
Duration of the illness
~duration of illness for staph varies from 24-48 hours.
