• Raises a person's blood pressure and heart rate.
• Decreases a person's blood flow to body extremities like the
fingers and toes.
• The brain and the nervous system is stimulated for a short
time and then reduced.
• Dizziness.
• Nausea.
• Watery eyes.
• Hyperacidity.

• Weakened sense of taste and smell.

• Nicotine speeds up the heart rate and increases blood
pressure.
• First time smokers often feel sick and dizzy.
• Smokers are more likely to get coughs and chest infections.
• Long-term addiction could leave you with cancer,
emphysema (related to your lungs) or heart disease.
• Smoking has been linked to the amputation of 2,000 limbs
a year.
• It's estimated smoking contributes to 120,000 premature
deaths in the UK every year.
• Other people breathing in your smoke could end up with
breathing difficulties, asthma or even cancer.

How to stop smoking
• Everyone knows that smoking is one of the hardest things
to quit as it is so addictive, therefore you must use ways to
get your mind off it e.g. Sports, joining new clubs, etc
• . Try and avoid alcohol, sugar and coffee
• Take substitutes for cigarette like nicotine patches, chewing
gum or herbal cigarette

How it can kill you
• It can cause many types of cancer e.g. Lung cancer, throat
cancer
• Heart disease
• Can cause breathing difficulties and be worse for those
which have cancer.
• So if you are not already addicted now you know all it will
cause is and early grave and possibly put in lots of debt, so
what is the point of starting to smoke?
