Student UoM IT Web Account
ITS-F25
The Student UoM IT Web Account enables students to host web pages related to University-related work (e.g.
assignments, online questionnaires, dissertation projects etc.) on the University servers.
Note:

The Student UoM IT Web Account enables students to upload web pages with static content (i.e. no server
side interaction). Students are requested to enquire with IT Services by sending an email to
[email protected] about any additional technical requirements.

Students are responsible for designing, developing and maintaining their web pages.

Students are requested to send/present the completed form at IT Services Reception Desk. Opening hours:
Monday-Friday 0800 – 1700hrs

UoM IT Account Agreement
I, the undersigned:
 understand that only academic and University–related web pages (e.g. assignments, online questionnaires,
dissertation projects etc) can be hosted on the University servers. The web pages may not be used for profitmaking purposes or for publishing third party material. Publishing of material, which is pornographic,
breaches copyright, and any other material, which can bring the University into disrepute, is prohibited.
 any material, which is published on the web pages, must not give the impression that it is published with the
official sanction of the University.
 have read the IT Services Rules at www.um.edu.mt/itservices/policies/rules and agree to subject myself to them.
 agree to indemnify University/IT Services and its staff against any claims arising out of my use of the IT Services
Student Web Account. It is my responsibility to maintain my own backup copies of data stored on the University
web server.
