Carnivorous Plants Biology 11 Photosynthesis, yes but… Carnivorous plants still make their own food by the process of photosynthesis But they supplement their “diet” with insects and other small invertebrates (no backbone) and on occasions even vertebrates (small frogs, etc) Why?
