1. Carbon dioxide and water
-from cellular respiration
2. Nitrogenous wastes
-produced from the breakdown of
amino acids
Ex: a) ammonia – most toxic
b) urea – less toxic
c) uric acid – non toxic

Urine- is a liquid waste composed of
water, urea, and salt
Don’t confuse excretion with
egestion
- egestion (defecation)- is the
removal of feces from the digestive
tract
