Aim of work
• Genes of Pleurotus ostreatus encoding
endocellulases were searched based on the
information regarding the cellulases of other
organisms.

• Amino acid sequence data of cellulase (mainly
endoglucosidase) were obtained from the
biological databases.
• Consensus-degenerate hybrid oligonucleotide
primers (CODEHOP) were designed .
• PCR amplification and sequence analysis were
conducted.

• PCR amplification was then performed
using each pair of CODEHOPs.
