NC TASC Bridging Systems for Effective Offender Care Management North Carolina TASC What is TASC? While the justice system is concerned about public safety, the treatment community is concerned about changing behavior & reducing personal suffering associated with substance abuse & mental illness. Treatment Accountability for Safer Communities (TASC) is a program that connects the justice system & treatment system to improve mental health & reduce drug use & crime in all 100 North Carolina counties.
